Triandáfylla – literally ‘thirty leaves’, i.e. Roses – is a charming family-run guesthouse located on the outskirts of Vasa. Completed in 2011, it was built using both traditional and contemporary methods, with its two façades made with locally quarried stone.
The house has a garden area, which is especially lovely from spring through to autumn. The upper terrace area – reached by walking through the garden – is a great place to relax with a good book and a glass of local wine. The view from here is particularly special in the late afternoon, when one can see the glorious colours of the sun setting behind the mountains. The surrounding landscape provides ample opportunity for writing, sketching, painting, as well as walking.
This house is located about a fifteen-minute walk from the retreat’s main house. A car ride to the main house can be arranged, if you would rather not walk.
